Can I filter out the douchebros who make comments like this when something destroys my and other people’s productivity?

It’s always and invariably a man, too. Anyway, the trend of the last few years of design has been clear: anti-user, and very much anti knowledgable user. Modern-designed applications are far slower and more difficult to use for me and many other people. Needed options have been removed, everything has been optimized for mobile and for the lowest viable IQ. My productivity has suffered greatly because of these changes, unless I can find an alternative or workaround.

There is the consolation, though, that it gives me great advantages over people like this who I will no longer be competing with in the job market because they are just too slow, encumbered as they are by mobile usage habits and capabilities, and smartphone brains.

No, I don’t hate change. I do hate changes that greatly harm me and make my life worse. I will resist this sort of change until the end.
