Marco Rubio openly supports an abortion ban (~15% support nationwide) and yet is treated as a "moderate" by media. AOC supports Medicare for All, Green New Deal, limits on credit card interest (all overwhelmingly popular nationwide) and is treated like an extremist.

And it’s the same with who is going to push us into war with Iran. It’ll largely be the media cheerleading it the entire way, and this will be the centrist position; the will of the people doesn’t matter at all.

AOC is treated like some kind of mega-socialist, when like Bernie she’s a standard New Deal Democrat from the 1950s, though with much less racism. Her plans are commonsense and if the republic wants to continue to exist her ideas are nearly mandatory.

Rubio represents the will of the media owners and that is why he is seen as a moderate. AOC represents the opposite so that’s why she’s viewed the way she is.
