In other words, most scientists studying feline psychology and intelligence have been biased against cats. Not surprising, given that society has long cultivated and normalized a hatred of cats simply because they aren't as submissive and obedient as dogs.

Yep. Those cats obviously understand that what’s happening on the screen is related to and connected to what’s behind them and are reacting to it.
