1. Establishment aligned pundits/ pundit brain sufferers openly scoff that something objectively fishy is happening

2. It becomes even more glaringly obvious that something fishy is happening

I’ve noticed this, too. Supposedly, conspiracies are impossible when in reality among aligned groups soft and hard conspiracies occur all the time.

For instance:

Iraq War (2003 Edition)
Iran-Contra
Soviet Union infiltration of Manhattan Project
Watergate Scandal
Plame Affair

And that’s only the ones we know about. In general, around 100-1000x as many crimes occur as are actually ever reported and/or discovered and that’s probably true of conspiracies as well.
