Polylimit

“Polycule” is a terrible term. It’s a designation that just screams the progressive contract obsession and cognitive limitations embedded therein. It’s something you’d call the infection your cat has caught, or perhaps a barely-visible aquatic life form.

Fucking “polycule.” Give me a break. It’s a blend of Greek and Latin, too, which makes it all the more heinous. (“Poly-” is Greek and “-cule” is Latin. Shitheels.)

Viridian Verge

Many people rightly want to change the ways in which the world is unfair to them. What they don’t realize, though, is that they then transition into a state where they then become the receivers of ways the world has been unfair to others — others they thought they wanted to be like. Observed from the outside, the disappointment is apparent as they realize that the world is unfair on many, many different axes and the grass might be a little greener but is still full of dogshit.

The Rhythm

Thinking about how progressivism and feminism has become, unwittingly, about reifying the desires, simplifications and approximations of algorithms.

That might be the first truly original thought I’ve had in a few years and gives me a new lens to examine the world; the true AI threat is already here and it’s effectively invisible.

Unsurance

But some whiny-ass motherfuckers with good insurance are complaining they might have to wait in line 10 minutes longer under a system that wasn’t killing dozens of thousands of people a year.

I wonder if they know how much they sound like monsters.

Anti Soc

Same. If you aren’t at least as smart as me in some areas we probably won’t get along. In general I prefer being around people smarter than I am in more than a few arenas. Otherwise conversations get very repetitive and I don’t enjoy hearing about things I read about when I was six, really.

PsyOp Against Yourself

Works 95% of the time, agreed. Sometimes it doesn’t. But the FA types would have you believe it doesn’t work 99% of the time.

That’s a good evolutionary reason we can often glance at someone and tell how healthy they are, and why so many spend time often poorly attempting to send those same signals artificially. Convincing yourself that you can be healthy and 300 pounds is just a PsyOp against yourself.

Power Loss

And you thought I was exaggerating about the vast propaganda campaign that would be mounted against Bernie. Everyone who will lose power will be coming for him. This includes nearly as many “progressive” groups as it does Repubs, by the way.

Catalina

Mac OS Catalina: more trouble than itโ€™s worth (Part 2).

Catalina is ok for me, because I know what I am doing. But it’s still a crap OS and it’s designed to move more towards a complete walled garden app model rather than a real computer. The “security” measures are designed to remove capabilities and to make normals scared of their machines and using them properly so they can be herded the correct direction. It’s not accidental that this is very similar to Mozilla’s undertakings of late.

Windows is doing this, too, of course. Hell, even Linux is moving this way — there is and will be no escape. We are fully in Clown Hell World now.

President Damp

Ex-fucking-actly.

Got so tired of hearing during the Obama administration about how the President could barely tie his own shoes, he had just so little power. Why, he couldn’t even draw his own bathwater because mean old Congress would just stop him dead in his tracks!

Of course this was just people bullshitting themselves about the reason why “cool” Obama was just using his vast powers only to prosecute whistleblowers and drone-bomb people, while trying his best to starve some grannies and befriend banksters.

Worthless numpties.

What It Takes

I’d support this; most people aren’t psychopaths, just solipsists and dumbasses, so this would be an effective mechanism to convince more and those not convinced would at least suffer a bit.

The Divergence

When you talk to women from other countries, non-American women that is, you realize how different from a lot of the rest of the world American women are. By comparison American women are very cloistered, wound extremely tight, on their guard and absurdly paranoid in ways that women from much more patriarchal societies even just are not.

Why is that, I wonder? What causes this huge divergence? The reason I’m asking is that I’ve been talking for a while now with a woman from Turkey and she is really different (like other such women I’ve met in the past) than most American women in really refreshing ways.

My point is not to criticize how American women are so much as to understand the vast difference and how it developed because I have to admit I can’t make sense of it.

Male Posturing

That last point is true. I wasn’t in a unit of elite commandoes but rather of paratroopers and while there was a lot of masculinity there, it mattered a lot less. I mean that there were far fewer displays of overt and insecure masculinity than anywhere else I’ve ever been.

Why? We didn’t have anything to prove. We were in a combat unit, had jumped out of planes together, done difficult missions without complaining. We knew were were tough. Hell, we knew the women in the unit were tough, too. What’s left to show anyone? We’d moved past all that. The only men who go around posturing and posting up aggressively are those who are very insecure and haven’t usually achieved anything of note.

I was friends with a few actual elite commandos when I was in the army (Special Forces, Delta Force) and those guys were the most laid back, calm, and the least interested in masculine posturing of any men I’ve ever been around — far less than even the fellow paratroopers I spent most my time around. I almost wanted to change my MOS (job) so I’d have a chance at even joining a unit like that because of how un-masculine (compared to normal male spaces) that sort of unit tends to be.

Most male spaces where the males haven’t achieved much are the most toxic of all.
