Whole thread is worth reading. I also suspect deaths are being undercounted (though not as severely) in the rest of the US.
I also think through the summer weโll think weโve contained the pandemic โ then Covid-19 will come roaring back in the fall, just as with regular flu. That should be fun, and thatโs what my 300,000 (US) death estimate is based on. Economy will be toast. And not good toast. Burnt generic grocery store bread toast.
