So many of these discussions have a false binary: It is either Free trade or No Trade! Cold War or Globalism!
Our trade policy is book length negotiated regulations — They can be renegotiated to be less favorable to a few Global corporations, and more favorable to US workers

The false choice, the false dichotomy, is used so often because it really works. I use it all the time to get my way because it’s so very effective.
