Exactly. My preferred video store in a hick town had more choices than all the streaming services put together — in 1992.
The future fucking sucks.
Too much of the progressive agenda is “attempt to change human nature.” This will never work. It sounds noble and all, but it’s doomed to fail.
A better, actually-achievable goal is to understand human nature and use that understanding to mold it in desirable directions. That progressives don’t believe there is a human nature means their efforts will do nothing but fail in the end.
Then we get fascism, and a lot of it.
Every single time I think about it, it bothers me that progressives are more than ok with the “genetics” explanation for obesity, but for nothing else.
