Go to the actual country that you're supposedly appropriating
People there will be ecstatic you speak two words of their language and do anything "cultural" in any way

My experience too. In Egypt, people loved me because I made an effort to speak some Arabic and to learn about the culture there. Note that my Arabic was absolutely terrible but they cared that I even tried.
White American liberals are “concerned” with cultural appropriation by proxy, attempting to help people who, first of all, don’t need help, and second of all, generally want you to participate in their culture. It’s all a show, a sham, to score virtue points by moral scolds.
Fuck that noise.
