Agreed. Just inertia from the past. We havenโt explored a hundredth of the better paradigms that are out there. Thinking we magically hit on just the right answers in the first 10 years of computing is asinine. Itโs like Oga with her round bashing rock in 3.3 million BCE thinking that sheโd found the only tool sheโd ever need, and we never advanced from there (which isโฆshockingly accurate, considering how very long the Paleolithic actually lasted).
I think we can and should do better.
