Trump should have lost in a landslide. The fact that he didn’t speaks volumes. Blaming the voters simply will not do. This is a failure of leadership. Those responsible for it need to be held accountable.

But the Trump voters are all just racists, right? All those racist Muslims, uh, and even more black people than in 2016 (still not many, but…) and Latinos. Yeah, all those classic racists.

Most of the racists vote for Trump, sure, but not everyone who votes for Trump is a racist. Or a Putinoid.
