You can build similar muscle mass with body weight strength training as you can with weights
But you must ensure you apply a high intensity of effort by bringing your sets within close proximity to failure (you donโt have to fail)
And you must apply progressive overload

This is technically true, but itโs much, much, much harder to do. Use weights if you can access them. Less risk of injury if used correctly and you can achieve much better results in far less time.
