When I came back from Egypt, because high-quality gold and silver was very, very cheap there (yes, it was all real), I brought my female friends back as much jewelry as I could fit in my bags. It only cost me about $400, though in the States all that loot would have been around $10,000.
I did it because I liked ’em, not because I was putting coins in the sex dispenser. Strange, huh? Anyway, they all loved it and it was really fun. I am glad I did it. I got my friend Mary a really nice silver cuff similar to the one below which looked stupendous on her because she was tall and had very toned arms and olive skin. She wore it all the time and told me she got more compliments on that bit of jewelry than anything she’d ever owned, so it was well worth it.
