Excellent Life Goals For Fitness:
1) 15% body fat or less
2) Be able to keep up with your kids/grandkids
3) A 1.25x bodyweight bench press
4) 10 Pull Ups
5) Not have any major health problems before age 80
6) Maintain #1-4 for as long as humanly possible

Very good and reasonable goals. My bench press is right at that, and I can do more than 10 pull-ups. Not sure what my bodyfat percentage is, but definitely below 15%. Donโt have any grandkids and never will, though.
The goals above above do not guarantee good health, but it sure puts you on the path that is more likely to lead that way and stay there. I know, I can hear the Fat Acceptance howlers screeching that โBeing fit doesnโt mean youโre healthy! Wahhhh!โ But thatโs how Iโm betting and how anyone who is not a total asscclown would wager too.
