This article about inceldom makes a good point.
As commentators have struggled to make sense of this phenomenon over the last few years, two distinct types of responses have emerged. In a strange reversal of the reactions to the September 11 attacks, where the Leftโs attempts to contextualize the historical and political factors were shouted down by the Right as sympathizing with terrorists and โblaming America first,โ this time it was the Left which insisted that the only proper response was outrage and denunciation, while any other analysis risked excusing murderers and blaming their victims.
I am definitely not an incel and have no real identification with their movement, but I have a bit of sympathy because I see how I could have easily become one of those poor souls in a world not that different from this one.
Good article, though. Skewers many sacred but obviously wrong beliefs of both the right and the left. Leave no bridge unburned is my motto.
