Omicron has me thinking once again of the truly piddling cost of a global vaccination program compared to size of global economy and costs of further death/disease/disruption. It would be change in the couch cushions for a single big nation.

Yeah, about $40 billion, give or take $20 billion or so. The ten-year ROI just for the country sponsoring this would be on the order of $2-$5 trillion.
