You have not lived — merely existed — until you’ve experienced the awesome flavor of this industrial aftermath. Behold, dear readers:

There are no words for how Cheese Wow! changes you. There is only the analogy of the creeping oblivion that spiders across the wall behind you as you slumber, looming, expectant — eager even — and then when you give in to the temptation and dispense some Cheese Wow! into your mouth, the phantasm strikes, and the devourer is in fact not you but Cheese Wow! Your life is then consumed by regrets and your existence revealed as a meaningless and flimsy sham as Cheese Wow! opens the true abhorrence of the universe to your eyes — eyes that can never again be shut against this revelation.

I did not imagine they’d be more sophisticated about it; I’ve been writing for years about how the liberal side loves the idea of taking things away from people. Never mind that it’ll hurt precisely the people libs are supposed to care about: the poor and downtrodden.

If food prices go up two times or even ten times, it’s a mild inconvenience for me. For many, that just means they starve.

Liberalism must be destroyed and the ground beneath the immolated edifice salted so nothing can grow there ever again.

I know econs will cry big about this, but actual inflation on the ground as most people experience it is about 25% YoY. That’s going to also cause some enormous political changes, and bad ones, in the near future.

By the way, Last Night in Soho is a much better depiction of how sex trafficking in the real world occurs in Western countries, rather than whatever is going on in the imagination of white suburban liberals.

Of course the internet has changed it a little, but not as much as people imagine (mostly, the internet made women and trans people freer of sex traffickers). Often, as depicted in the film, it is confident, ambitious women who are ensnared, who do it “just this once,” and then get caught up in the life and can’t leave.

But I read books and stuff. You know, not just Twitter mythologizing.

I’ve always been puzzled by our lack of investment in areas that would have enormous, immediate and long-term payoff. It just makes no sense. We can’t even do the easy things, so I guess it makes sense that people believe we shouldn’t even try the hard things, and that those are “impossible.”

I knew a woman in Seattle who kept a real katana behind the seat of her truck. It was not for show; she was extremely well-trained in kenjutsu and was fearsome with that weapon. I hope no one ever thought to mess with her because they would’ve ended up in little pieces all over the ground.
