Pre-covid, did we realize there are so many people amongst us who are so stupid and/or crazy that they would rather die than get a safe, effective vaccination against a deadly disease? I had a very low opinion of humans and I am shocked. Pollyannas must be despondent.

Between the anti-vaxxers and the liberal “eternal lockdown is the way to do it” fanatics, my evaluation of humanity was drastically downgraded as a result of the pandemic. It was already very low, but now an alien invasion would be welcomed.
