Itโs a self-reinforcing problem, too. As a driver, I drove a car for years. Starting around 2015, I began noticing that EVERYONE else drove an SUV. LED Headlights at eye level = not fun. So, I upgradedโฆto an SUV.

I drive a large sedan that weighs nearly 4,000 pounds. Objectively, itโs a huge car. The trunk is immense; I could fit a squad of bodies in there. But when I drive it feels tiny against 6,000+ pound trucks that loom more than three feet higher than it is. Often, I can see nothing around me.
This is not the way it should be.
