Every complaint like "Why did they still hold/attend this event?", etc, is based on an unconscious belief that Covid will end at some point. Like most, I was in denial about its permanence until late last Summer.

That’s right. There is no ending to a virus like SARS2. That was pretty clear since early 2020.
