Iโm an excellent troubleshooter and this resembles my philosophy and method. And yes, I do solve things that cannot be found via Google. Iโm the guy you call when youโve already called all the other guys.*
Reminds me that I also need to put together some sort of Troubleshooting Theory class for my team. I am still not sure troubleshooting can be taught, but I am still willing to give it a go. If it improves troubleshooting capability even 20% itโll be well worth it.
*Thursday, I solved a problem that two developers, one member of my team, and a few other people had spent two weeks on. I cracked it in less than five minutes. I just didnโt have time to look at it any earlier.
