The lib tactic of lovingly cataloging everything they simply must take away from everyone will never NEVER work. It’s just moronic and it assures nothing useful will or can occur. I know they get off on this monasticism and enforcing it on others, but they must get over it.

Noah is dead on as to the correct approach.

Can’t Paper Over It

Paper straws are fucking terrible. I hate very fucking liberal idiot who had anything to do with that ever. Fuck you all.

NPR

There’s a reason I’ve called NPR the “Nice, Polite Republicans” for many years.

NPR this morning did the ultimate unforgivable “both sides” horse-race bs — they labeled people who support Roe v Wade as extremists and wondered if such extremism will cause the Democrats to lose in November.

An “extremist” to NPR types is someone who does not support the exact status quo at the moment. “NPR Voice” is worth hating alone. But even more, it’s worth all the loathing you can spare for their pusillanimity and just being craven lapdogs to power. Any power, doesn’t matter wielded by whom.

Uncausal

It was already happening before the pandemic, of course, but I just assume that nothing in this country will work correctly or operate as previously expected. The pandemic and its aftereffects worsened this, but was by no means the primary cause.

The decline is unstoppable and accelerating.

Min

I’ve been saying this for years. At least 80% of the reason MBA types want you in the office is so they can gaze out over their minions or impress other MBAs with how many minions they control. That’s it.

Rich Dys

The US is the richest dystopia in the history of ever.

Abuse

True. I have a few Gen Z friends. They know they are completely screwed. The Millennials were promised better and that was yanked away from them, which made them bitter and paranoid; Boomers reaped all the gains and pulled up the ladder behind them, while hurling abuse at the Millennials below. Gen Z witnessed all this and realized they weren’t even going to receive Boomer scraps and are not bitter like the Millennials but rather resigned to their fate, with a wicked sense of humor about it all.

A Gen Z friend of mine said, “I’m just waiting to die in the water wars. My retirement plan is an early grave.” And she was not kidding.

Chestburster

Not improv in the traditional sense, but the cast did not know what was going to occur or exactly the effect that would be used. They were as shocked as all the viewers were the first time they saw the film. The director wanted to capture their actual reactions so, no, they did not know the chestburster was gonna do some chestburstin’.
