Easy Enough (Not)

Most high-IQ people are not competent systems thinkers. The vast, vast majority in fact. It’s dispiriting. I believe IQ is measuring something real (at least as it’s relevant to our society) but it mostly does not measure that, which is the one fucking thing I care about. (It’s why high-IQ societies are useless to me. They are not my people. And are chock full of libertarian idiots.)

Would it be possible to make a “systems thinker” test? Interesting design problem if it’s even possible at all.

Treatment

Agreed. Any truck that weighs more than 4,000 pounds should require a commercial license and a fairly high yearly tax rate.

There really is something psychologically wrong with people who think they need a truck with a 55-inch-tall grille. They should be put somewhere for treatment, or just to keep them away from the rest of us.
