I’ve noticed before that the most attractive women on Twitter (with the exception of Aella and a few others) are the ones who have the most issues when people disagree with them. Many extremely attractive women have never had a person strongly disagree with them in their lives to any extent. The halo of conventional beauty does provide this, so it’s a real shock when someone doesn’t give a shit how they look and calls them an idiot. It’s not misogyny when someone disagrees, though — it’s just that they’ve never or rarely experienced it before.

And the powerful also aren’t used to being disagreed with and denigrated. This also comes as a real shocker to them. It’s something they are completely unaccustomed to and most just cannot handle it. It’s been a long time since it’s happened to them and it makes many of them completely melt down.
