It might be time to look elsewhere and my heart is broken.

Ha! If a company asked me to cancel a flight or vacation for anything less than “this company is about to go bankrupt if you don’t do this right now,” my flight wouldn’t be cancelled but my job sure would. I’d quit on the spot. Believe it.

And I’d expect full compensation and extra pay if I did cancel anything (which is very, very fucking unlikely).
