The ‘Mortuary Chic’ of Today’s Aspirational Kitchen. It’s almost impossible to imagine any actual cooking being done in these rooms full of dazzling white surfaces and shiny appliances.

Looking at houses recently, I’ve noticed this too. It’s terrible. It makes me want to perform an autopsy, not make some pulled pork. What is the point of that aesthetic? I miss linoleum and color.
