Does Jack Edwards actually read all the posts he posts about?
The questioner meant โbooksโ for the first instance of โposts.โ I donโt really know who Jack Edwards is, but I used to read something like 1,500-2,000 books a year at one point. I was often finishing 3-4 books a day โ and I read seven books in a single day one time. Admittedly they were short works, but weโre talking about full-on adult novels and non-fiction here, not YA or kidโs books.
You can read a whole fucking lot of books when you read fast, donโt sleep much, and donโt do much else. For a long time I was reading for 16-18 hours a day every day. Iโd read all day at school, ignoring schoolwork. Iโd read on the bus. Iโd read the moment I got home (in fact, I used to walk from the bus stop while still reading my book). And Iโd read all night. Iโd read all weekend. You get the idea.
So I find it perfectly plausible that someone who reads fast and does it as a job could read 200+ books a year or whatever the claim is here. Seems pretty easy to me.
