A sentence I really liked from one of the 38 books I’m reading now, T.E.D. Klein’s The Ceremonies:

“Hands raised as if in supplication, Freirs felt himself make overtures to the moon, gestures and faces that no one could see, no one would never see, no one had ever seen before.”
