The entire economy is a scam now; it’s getting more difficult to find something, anything that is not. I hate dealing with large vendors now because they are all like this. One of the reasons I advised my company to start using virtual credit cards with high limits is when a vendor pulls this shit, we can just turn off the credit card.

When dealing with salespeople showing up randomly at the door, I try to be polite but firm — but I had to recalibrate that from my North Florida standards where “polite but firm” could include some degree of violence, like a polite punch or a warning shot.

I agree, but this is true of all social media as currently constructed; it’s all a huge alienation device. It’s all an enormously destructive cognitohazard.

It is. Another thing I was told was “impossible” by all the self-declared smart people as recently as five years ago. This tech will help greatly with aquifer depletion and many, many other things in a warming world.

Of the common turn-ons, enormous breasts and that many men are obsessed with them. Especially artificially augmented ones. I just do not understand. In either case they aren’t a turn-off for me, exactly, but I just don’t care.
