No. Hitler was identified by time travelers as the best choice to produce the years of peace that followed WWII. Otherwise, there wouldโve been Schneider instead of Hitler in all explored timelines. Schneider didnโt persecute Jews nor commit genocide against them, but rather kept all the Jewish scientists and by 1934 put them all to work on nuclear research. The Germans thus had an aircraft-deliverable nuclear bomb by 1941, nuclear missiles by 1943, and incinerated 70% of the world โ including much of Europe and America โ in the years that followed. 400 million people died in the nuclear conflagration and the famine that rode in behind that cataclysm.
