If you’re a man, the average case of even a good outcome is that you end up in a mediocre relationship with a narcissist and the average case of a bad outcome is that you get rudely rejected — with the outside but very real chance that you get ostracized, fired or even jailed if a woman wants to go nuclear on you for the horrible crime of being awkward or unattractive.

What benefit is there? If I weren’t with my partner, I’d definitely not date again. It might be a sparse minefield, but it’s still a minefield.
