This ignores that women are tested in other areas1 (though not as much as men, no matter what women think, especially today), but yeah, women don’t get this trivially simple problem correct not because they are stupid, but because for them such assessments are irrelevant. Every woman above the level of “actual cave troll” knows she has inherent value that is immanent to her no matter what she answers she gives on some silly “gotcha” type test.
So she just checks some random box after thinking about it for no time at all and goes about her day. It’s perfectly understandable.
In areas that women recognize don’t actually matter, they give minimal effort. Just enough not to get someone angry at them.
However, men know we’re always being tested so minimal effort is never enough. If we don’t go all out all the time, it’s pretty much done for us. Men are to this day defined by what they can do and what they can achieve — and that is reflected in effort everywhere.
