Canada has no politics of its own. From what I can see, 90% of Canada’s politics is either people being angry that they aren’t Americans (Ian Welsh et al.), or angry because they are too much like America and don’t want to be.
The other 10% is just people upset because they are so close to America, but falling drastically behind due to self-caused issues. Canada is a pretend country that can’t defend itself and is rapidly self-destructing.
I’m the least prudish person around but that stuff bothers me too. I don’t think clothes for 13-year-olds should have “Juicy” or “Pink” on the ass. And no, I wasn’t looking at little girls’ butts. You can just see that sort of attire hanging up in nearly any retailer.

Also, Gen X, if you started early (as I did). The sweet spot of tech adding many benefits while avoiding most drawbacks was around 1986-1999. Being charitable, it could be extended up until social media became more popular, around 2005. I wouldn’t, though, as ubiquitous mass surveillance had already become easy at that point.
But in 1990, you could dial into a BBS, chat with someone, download a little game, then go outside and ride your bike. Social ties weren’t destroyed by tech and if someone wanted to surveil you, they had to have a real reason.
Also, no smartphones, which are nothing but evil.

Why is female on female sexual abuse never talked about?
There are a lot, lot more female abusers (who do this to women and men) out there than commonly thought.
A few reasons it is under-discussed. One is that women always get the benefit of the doubt; men almost never do. A second is that you’re seen as weak — even as a woman — if you let another woman abuse you. Makes no sense, but there you go.
I personally knew (one is dead) or know three different women who have been sexually abused by other women. Since I don’t know many people, that indicates to me it is far more common than reported.
But women getting the benefit of the doubt occurs in all areas. As one commenter points out, “No one believes that a woman can harm or hurt someone even if they are witnessing it happening right in front of them.” Men only wish they got the leeway and the lenience that women routinely receive.
Instead, men are told we are “creeps” for just occupying space, doing nothing at all.

I don’t think Canada will collapse, though. Just become a lot more like Mexico, as they let in too many feral third worlders, and will incur the consequences of that.
