For the last few years of the Russia-Ukraine War, Ukraine was merely not losing.

Now, it seems to be actually winning. This puts the Baltics under greater threat, not less — Putin feeling cornered and trapped means he is likely to lash out elsewhere. And it’d take a lot less to roll over Latvia, say, than it would’ve Ukraine.

A very dangerous time now.
