Inferior Prude

(1) VB Knives on X: "As with many things, dating co-workers has been formally discouraged for quite a long time. But no one used to pay any attention to all that, it was a joke. Somewhere along the way the rule was actually internalized and taken seriously." / X

I lived through the end of that era, and the older way was better.

Not sure if itโ€™s proper to call society feminized (though even a lot of women donโ€™t like the New Morality) or HR-ized, but itโ€™s certainly vastly inferior and far more prudish. And seemingly getting worse. In the 1980s, about 40% of people met their spouse at work. Which, you know, is only fucking natural, you idiots.

At the first company I worked after the army, everyone was dating everyone else. I went out with three different co-workers (no, none of them worked for me). After that, it started becoming verboten. Which is moronic.

Too tired to do a real sociological analysis of all this, but the HR-ization of society is evil and bad. And is not even good for women, except maybe 1%-ish of PMC liberal women who are atypical.
