What commonly regarded good advice from women is actually terrible advice?

If advice from women to other women is counted, it’s this:

“Have sex immediately with guys you don’t really like but do want sex from, but make the ‘good’ guys wait for sex.”

This has the exact opposite effect as the one intended. It’s terrible advice and a horrible practice if you want a quality long-term relationship.

That doesn’t mean you as a woman (or as a man) must jump into bed on the first date, but it does mean you are vastly more likely to alienate and drive away the good guys you want to stick around while the guys you don’t want stalk and harass you. It’s utterly moronic to do this.

And if I (as would many guys) found out that a woman had treated me or thought about me like this I’d dump her immediately, no questions asked.
