I drive an EV in Ohio and so I hear plenty of unsolicited opinions, and the extent to which urbanist folks on here parrot the same bogus anti-EV talking points as batshit right wing conspiracy theorists has consistently shocked me.

There’s a lot of reasons for that. Many of those types are obsessed with banning cars and have an unnatural fixation with taking away things from others, so “EVs bad” no how much better they are than ICE autos.
Meanwhile, the reality:
