I cannot stress this enough: if you live in the US between the Rockies and the Cascades, you need to start figuring out how you’re going to GTFO in the next decade or so. Really, truly, no hyperbole. Because the water is running out and there’s no way to replenish it.

There will be something done about it, but it will be at the expense of the Great Lakes. Wait till we start piping water out en masse. Oh yeah, it’s going to happen. There is no real technical challenge here; it’s just logistics. And we’ll do it, and it’ll be bad.
