I stole this from somewhere else (forgot where now), but it’s funny that anti-vax sentiment could only develop where vaccines were nearly ubiquitous and had been for a long time.

Otherwise, all the death and then averting it with vaccines would make it immediately clear the effectiveness of vaccination.

That is an extremely easy passage, I agree. In a normal world I’d consider that to be what 4th-6th graders should be able to handle.

We do not live in that world. 

There is just nothing very complex or intellectually challenging there, especially if you can use Google. That university students in the US cannot make sense of it is fucking appalling and an indictment of us all.

Entirely too much of so-called liberalism and progressivism is about the joy (for them) of taking things away from people — anything fun, modern conveniences, air conditioning. If it makes life better, you’re not doing proper penance, so it must be excised.

The liberals really stuffed it up with their unqualified support for the very worst and verifiably untrue aspects of the trans hysteria.

Unfortunately for them, biology is real, chromosomes exist, nearly everyone is definitely one sex or the other (human biological sex is almost perfectly binary), most people should not be transitioning (and should instead receive mental health assistance), surgical transition is dangerous and should hardly every be done, and puberty blockers cause actual predictable harm.

This wasn’t wholly what lost them 2024. No, it was mostly inflation. But this wackiness certainly contributed.

Sort of true, what Lizzy is saying. I honestly do not imagine sexual scenarios with my female friends. Not every man does that. It just never occurs to me, even if I think they are beautiful. I’m not as sexually driven as many men, though, and never have been.

I do have to say, though, that anyone who thinks men and women cannot be friends is a fetid dipshit. There is something very wrong with them morally and ethically.

Driving is pretty great. People like doing it, generally. It offers a lot of freedom. It’s a weirdo urban-leftist myth that people hate driving. What they actually hate is commuting, which is a different sort of thing altogether.

Indeed. I grew up in North Florida, among a whole passel of North Florida meth-heads. And I can tell a North Florida meth-head on sight in about 0.00001 seconds. Other people marvel at this skill. And I’m always right.

In the liberal mind, I’m discriminating. I’m being unfair. An obvious nasty meth habit doesn’t mean they’re not a good person, right? RIGHT? Tell me that as they’re stealing all your shit and perhaps stabbing you. Then you’ll be glad I did the discrimination.
