Aim To Misbehave

I have an aversive, contrarian personality naturally. But growing up as I did made it far worse.

If someone is telling me what to do, I first assume it’s because they want to harm me. True for much of my life. This tendency to disobey is not always a benefit, but it has kept me out of situations others become all-too-easily ensnared in.

Overall it has helped me, but it’s a hard road to walk sometimes.

I was not on maternity leave obviously, but I did the same thing after a two-week vacation on a job that I’d grown increasingly frustrated with. There, I’d get 500-1,000 emails a day. I rolled back in, took one look at my inbox, and deleted every single thing in there. There were no consequences other than not having 10,000+ emails to deal with.

Recommend, would do again.

Without artificial enhancements such as HGH and anabolic steroids, it takes 5-7 years of working out quite hard to get close to a Marvel superhero level body.

Probably a bit less if you’re younger. So I see why more people don’t do it. It takes continual, focused effort and eating well enough to get it done — all the while, people will tell you it’s “impossible.”

Luckily, I’ve made doing the impossible and laughing at the haters and losers my whole thing.

Glad we optimized our lives for low monthly cash burn while still living pretty luxuriously. And that was before all this shit started. Doing the smart thing before it’s needed is where it’s at. (And I am sure to many idiot leftists, that also counts as bullying.)

Even with eating out and all that, our required monthly outlay is only about $2,000, including the insanely high California property taxes.

Not bad. Not bad at all. We can earn that working at a convenience store if needed. Or I could return to daytrading again; pretty sure I can make $2k in a few hours most months.
