Pure Annoying

This woman sounds like a puritan piece of shit even if I agree with many of her points.

This reminds me of how many women and men believe they are divine beings, a gift to the universe, while actually being whiny little pricks. She seems like the epitome of a whiny little prick really. Women like this have extremely high self opinions though offering nothing other than lots of lip filler and not-very-clever snark while being woefully dumb. And they are also never good at sex, either, so there is nothing at all compensatorily redeeming about them.

Every man over 35 who has dated more than three people has run across one like this, and then run the other way posthaste due to their extreme toxicity.

And here I speak from bitter experience.

Standard Measure

Apart even from how poorly applications work now, the internet has been sanitized, standardized and monetized so that it’s as boring as the beige box buildings we’re constructing everywhere nowadays. Meanwhile, dipshit clowns tell me this is for “security” and “for my own good.”

I know most people actually believe this, the propaganda victims that they are. They do not possess their own minds. They sold them cheaply to others long ago. But I refuse to do so.

QOL

It’s weird when people say, “Medical science has gotten so good, obese people live nearly as long as the non-obese!” Well so fucking what. I care about quality of life too, and I don’t understand why more people don’t. And the QOL of the obese — especially as they get older — is pretty crummy.

Meanwhile, I’m nearly as fit as I was at 23 and can do things a lot of people half my age cannot do. And like McDonald’s, I’m lovin’ it.

Weight What

I lost a bit of weight recently and now my pants no longer fit. I look kingly but I wish my pants still fit. I don’t like wearing belts but it’s starting to be that if I do not, my pants end up around my ankles.

Butlering In

The answer is that there were a lot of silent-era films where the butler did it. There were quite a few between 1915-1927. This is where the trope was more widely dispersed.

The deeper answer is that the wealthy are always suspicious and a little afraid of their hired help, especially ones who know such intimate details about one’s life as a butler would. Thus, the trope appears almost out of thin air.

Conditions

Oh, this is absolutely true. I’ve learned not to use conditionals in emails because nearly 100% of the time they will not be understood.

William Fakepeace Thackeray

How that is not clear to every-fucking-one I have no idea.
