I did not realize till today that this song had a video. I like Katie’s wild hair in the vid; I actually prefer short hair, unlike most men, but if you have long hair the warrior princess look is pretty awesome.
She’s such an amazing songwriter.

Wow, they are good live! A lot better than I expected.
I found the old Cranberries video I was looking for! It’s from 1991. Dolores in glasses, live. She was only 19 when this was shot and still possessed far more wisdom and composure than women decades her senior.
“Linger” is not my favorite Cranberries song, but it’s cool to see it live before they’d become world famous.
A trifle, but also fun. And fun matters, especially now in these dark times. I wish they’d let the bassist sing more; her voice has a vulnerability and hesitancy that I really like.
I was looking for an early live performance of The Cranberries and did not find it. However, I did uncover the below. The sound mixing on it is such a crime. Whoever did that should be put in a jail where only badly-recorded AC/DC concerts are blasted at top volume 24/7.
Still a good performance, but that sound mixing seems like something done by a deaf middle-schooler.
I love this; another very small artist I found recently.
Wow, esto estรก chido, algo discordante y con un aire inquietante.
Marcella Detroit’s (the tall one with short hair) vocals are so insane. She sings things live most singers would not even attempt. Half of her part of the song she does in whistle register. Just what the fuck.
I’m sad I did not get to see them live back in the day.
I don’t usually like songs this, for lack of a better word, “smooth.” But this one has a nice feel and progression.
Also, really nice lighting here. It looks a bit cinematic.
This is the coolest little-known thing I’ve found lately in my scouring the earth for good music.
That’s the stuff, right there.
Blu’s playing reminds me so much of Stevie Wonder’s long-time bassist, Nathan Watts. Compare and contrast what Blu is doing with what Nathan does in a song like “Contusion.”
She’s always playing around with counter rhythm in a way that is so brain-breaking that someone can do that so musically.
This is not like a single other thing I’ve listened to recently; I like it a lot.
Great song, with strong Kate Bush vibes.
Such a pretty song. I’d rather the video was of them performing or similar, but hey, it’s hard to complain about a vid of attractive Japanese women goofing around. There are worse things.
I am sorry Blu had to sell her soul to be able to play bass like that, but at least we all benefit from her sacrifice.
And bonus fun. Vertical and too short but still great:
