I hardly ever play computer games, but I do like them occasionally.
But why does every damn one nearly have to require multiplayer these days? I don’t want to play no fucking multiplayer game.

It saves devs the effort of building content that will actually entertain by itself, I guess. What sort of computer games do you prefer, btw?
Mostly I like to play fighting games — Streetfighter and similar — or shooters like the old Unreal Tournament.
Not really into puzzle games or long intricate games. I did enjoy Guild Wars, though after it got to the parts where you nearly had to team up with multiple others, my girlfriend and I pretty much gave it up.
I think I’d like the Mass Effect series, but haven’t actually played it.
How about you? And any recommendations?
Hmm, doesn’t seem like our tastes overlap much (most shooters give me motion sickness, and I’ve never managed to get into fighting games. More of a long intricate RPG gal, really). Not sure how much you’d like the actual shooter part of ME considering it was easy enough for me to finish with little trouble (on Normal difficulty) but the story is quite engaging.
