My favorite guitarist is now Danielle Haim.
Damn she is good. What tone and precision she gets from her instrument.

And what a beautiful guitar she has, too. Itโs a Gibson SG, which was also played by one of the Gospel progenitors of rock โn roll, Rosetta Tharpe.
Good for you for mentioning Sister Rosetta. Although I’m extremely unreligious, I love a lot of black gospel music which I use to listen to at night in South Florida on WLAC from Nashville (for some reason nightime reception was exceptionally good where I lived much better than further north…).
That’s an impressive distance.
Late at night in North Florida, there was a station that would play old blues and gospel that I’d listen to. Like you I am nonreligious, but enjoyed the music. And I like knowing where things came from, and how.
