Iโve been looking for actual numbers, because thatโs what I do. Turns out that most reported sexual violence even in France is already perpetrated by refugees/foreigners. Thatโs long been the case in Sweden which apparently as a country has a deathwish, but I didnโt know that about France.
The important part of that is that 52% of the sexual assaults were committed by foreigners (which has a little different meaning in France than it does in the US). Admittedly this is only Paris and is a relatively-small sampleโฆbut still, think this is likely to decrease? Somehow magically get better?
Yeah, that whole โlet anyone and their cat inโ was a great idea, dontcha think?
What if we make official and legally sanction the cultural practice of viewing unemployed persons as likely criminals? (44 % sont sans emploi) Might the streets be at least a little safer if unemployed people, in general, were under heightened police scrutiny?
I suspect this would have more negative effects than positive ones.
If 44% of the criminals were unemployed, I wonder the difference between commission of criminal acts by the employed vs. unemployed (overall rate)? That’d be more interesting to see.
