how the fuck did microsoft EVER think WPF was worth a shit? for one second? how did ANYONE at that company think this was a viable road let alone ready for release? every single WPF program takes 15 seconds to start.

Because it’s THE FUTURE! The WPF version of calculator is comically slow. It’s slower than Photoshop was on my Pentium 75Mhz in 1996. It’s just unbelievable that someone looked at that trash fire (WPF, calculator, or both) and said, “Yep, that’s release quality. Ship it!”
