This is a large part of the reason for the hatred and dismissal of Greta Thunberg. People are realizing how terribly they’ve screwed up, how bad it’s going to be, and do not want to admit it or acknowledge it. And they definitely do not want an actual child that their inaction directly harms to remind them of all this.
