Stopped for a pedestrian on Cretin this morning, and cars kept going around me since itโs 2 lanes each way so I pulled across BOTH lanes to stop them from hitting him. SO DRIVERS WENT AROUND ME INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC INSTEAD and I just had to give up. Ban cars already omg

This is why I generally do not stop for pedestrians in Florida particularly. The few times I have, the pedestrian has almost been struck/killed (and my car also hit) because if you do stop cars will go around you in other lanes, including into oncoming traffic, and cause even greater danger to the pedestrian.
So I know the liberals will hate me for it, but unless there is absolutely no traffic close behind me I donโt stop for pedestrians on large roads in Florida. It just endangers them as the other drivers absolutely 100% will not stop, and will do the most dangerous things possible to get around you if you do stop.
