Lately, I’ve been agreeing with Amanda Marcotte a lot, which is something that hasn’t happened in a good decade or so at least. She seems to have recovered a bit from whatever happened to her (and good for her, I’m genuinely happy about it).
Masks are terrible, and though they work, she’s right: time to start putting them away now, or developing a plan to do so. No reason to make people live like that forever, no matter how bad you wanna show those damn Trumpists what’s what. Concentrate on better ventilation, though. That’s where the long-term wins will be.
