The giant oceanic manta ray can grow up to 7m (23ft) across and weigh up to 3,000kg (6,600lb).

When I was flying over the Red Sea in a helicopter, I saw one of those that was easily 16 feet across. I mean, it was big enough to see from a helicopter so that thing was a giant. I miss having access to the Red Sea, though I’d never want to live in Egypt for any longer than I did.
